For a project, I used a camcorder that uses DVD-R disks for recording a movie. I need to edit the clips, rearrange them, cut, etc..but I can’t convert the VOB file into something that will work with Windows Movie Maker. The cd is write protected and I can’t covert the files into Movie Maker. Help?

Well, my camcorder has accidently got a finger print and it smudges up the videos i take. I hear you need a special type of cloth with which to clean. can someone help me out?

Do I really need camcorder? I know camera has space limitation but I can still record for about 30-35 minutes of 640×480 video which is good enough for me.

I recently purchased the Canon Vixia HF200 digital camcorder. What can i do, as far as changing settings go, to optimize the quality and get the best out of my new camcorder… Also any tips such as low-light filming suggestions and stuff like that would be immensely helpful.

i recently bought a sony camcorder, and im very bad at camcorders. How would make a DVD??? would you just put the memory stick/card into the computer, then burn it on to a CD ROM thing. idk. am i right? someone help. If it helps here’s the model: Sony Handycam DCR-DVD650/DVD850 hybrid. thank you

I am doing a school project on paranormal investigation and im looking for a video camera that matches this description:
$500-$600 maximum price, the nightshot feature (or any nightvision) so that i can see a good distance and in GOOD RESOLUTION, the memory should be something that can easily be uploaded onto the computer and viewed and saved, and in general- just a good video camera.

When I connect my video camera to my computer, it can’t recognize the camera. I have the software installed and updated and USB streaming turned on. Any ideas of how to get my computer to recognize it?
