Hi yahoo people, I have one question. How do you download videos from your camcorder to your computer. Me and my family have a youtube account and we want to download a few videos. I know how to download videos to youtube, but I don’t know how to get them to our computer. If any of you guys know how to, please please please let us know. Thanks

I am looking for a good camcorder for general use that is also great for posting videos on the internet. I would like to spend under $450. Any recommendations?

I have a Hi8 camcorder and i want to be able to hook it to my computer so i cant watch it on there and copy the video so i can save the videos on my computer. I also need a program that will rip the videos (or will fraps work)?

Currently I can only transfer it from my camcorder (Sony DCR-HC26) to Picture Package, a program made for the camcorder. I tried unsuccessfully to find a way to transfer it from Picture Package to My Videos, but if anyone knows a way to do that that’d be great.
Another thing: Can I transfer my videos to MovieMaker? Right now I’ve only figured out how to do that when I’m filming as my camera is connected to my computer.
Also, how can I make DVDs from my videos?
(Yes I’m a n00b at videos.

Ok, somehow the cd you need to upload the videos on a computer was lost. I have the usb cord, but you need the cd to install the program so it can work. Any other ways I can do this? Thanks.

I’ve been looking for comcorders and found a few I like but they are HD so I was wondering if I need a HD tv&comp.

I want to get a camcorder that I can put the videos onto my computer and edit them or whatever. Anyone know of any good ones?

I have a samsung sc-d453 ntsc camcorder that has a video recorded on a minidv tape. i plugged the camcorder into the computer with the usb plug provided, but a drive with the video won’t show up. do i need any other software in order to upload from the tape? if i upload from the memory stick, it works fine.
