I’ve never owned a camcorder before..I’ve been researching and still having a hard time picking a high quality camcorder. The things that are important to me is battery life, excellent video and still picture quality (for indoor shooting too) and to be able to easily edit onto a dvd without compromising video quality. Any suggestions?

I am interested in getting into journalism reporting for my website. I only have a regular camcorder and really would like to use a wireless microphone just like the reality shows. What other equipment such as adapter do I need? Most importantly how do you set one of these things up? I am soooo new to these high tech equipment.

I am looking for a new camcorder. I don’t want anything too fancy since I am on a budget, but obviously would like some good picture quality, and to be able to put whatever I shoot onto my computer.
Does anyone know of any good little camcorders on the market for me? I wont be doing anything more than just filming friends, family and pets this summer.
My budget is quite low, but I think I’ll be able to get something. Around £100, maybe a little more if I stretch it.

Tape isn’t HD, and neither are DVD’s, so is the only way to buy a HD-DVD or Blu-Ray burner? I just want quality like I see when I watch tv shows in HD. Help please!

I have a Fuji F10 digital camera, which in my opinion takes great pictures. If I purchase a camcorder that can also take still images, will the quality of those still images even come close to my Fuji?

I would be using for when i go on holiday and home movies.
