It is a digital handycam, but when I connect it up with my usb cable it does nothing. (I can download still picture from it to the computer but it will not do the footage from tape) Grandmother is gone now and this footage is important to save for our family. I need to place it on a DVD for the younger family members.

I have the JVC GR-AX220 camcorder and it does not have a USB or a firewire port. There is something that says JLIP on it, and that iknow is used with the red and white audio, and yellow video cord. I was told that you can put a video from that on the computer but does anyone know how? Also I have a mini DV camera if that helps.

I want to make a CD, not a Dvd. Is this possible after recording myself with a camcorder? If not, are there any other suggestions on how to do this? I dont want to spend lots of money!

I am looking for a camcorder that is capable to plug in a microphone so i can move far back from the camera and people still can hear me and a light incase it is to dark.
I’m looking for something around 800-1500 or close to that range.
And maybe nightvision?

a drama like Holby City or Casualty?I know that a DV Camcorder is good for making movies but I also want a Camcorder that can make films and film in the style of something like Coronation Street, what kind of Camcorder do I buy for this?

I bought a tape head cleaner as my book suggested which I used and this still didnt work so I put my tape back in and now it wont reject it. Ive charged it so it cant be that. Please help as I cant afford to buy a new one and I so want it right for xmas.
