My first generation aluminum unibody MacBook (the one without the memory card reader) does not recognize my Sony DCR-HC30 camcorder. I already have a FireWire 400 to USB adapter. Do I need a special driver?, because I cannot find nothing on Sony’s website. Please help! I have some video I want to edit in iMovie 09.
My computer doesn’t recognize DCR-SR100. I tried to the driver posted on Sony website for other digital camcorder and it did not work.
The video lamp model is HVL-10NH. I inserted 4 AA rechargeabe batteries. The battery indicator shows battery crossed with a stroke. What does this mean? What do I do?
It is a digital handycam, but when I connect it up with my usb cable it does nothing. (I can download still picture from it to the computer but it will not do the footage from tape) Grandmother is gone now and this footage is important to save for our family. I need to place it on a DVD for the younger family members.
I have the JVC GR-AX220 camcorder and it does not have a USB or a firewire port. There is something that says JLIP on it, and that iknow is used with the red and white audio, and yellow video cord. I was told that you can put a video from that on the computer but does anyone know how? Also I have a mini DV camera if that helps.
I have a digital camera/camcorder and it has a battery that to charge it you need to detach it from the cam and put it in the charger. Now, when the camcorder is connected to my pc and used as a webcam, will the battery loose charge?
Thanks
I would like to know.. if i will buy a DVD sony camcorder, would any blank dvd work with the camcorder? or, I should just buy the original SONY blank DVD specific for that camcorder?
Hi,
I bought a sony digital camcorder, and it’s on the way here… but I noticed it requires sony tapes. Why does a digital camcorder require tapes? How does that work if I want the video to go to my laptop?
Thanks a bunch
go to the menu part in the camera and go to memory card/memory or something similer to that and hit auto dectect…so your camera can auto detect the memory card when it is inserted….hopes this helped
