My computer doesn’t recognize DCR-SR100. I tried to the driver posted on Sony website for other digital camcorder and it did not work.

I am interested in getting into journalism reporting for my website. I only have a regular camcorder and really would like to use a wireless microphone just like the reality shows. What other equipment such as adapter do I need? Most importantly how do you set one of these things up? I am soooo new to these high tech equipment.

I have the JVC GR-AX220 camcorder and it does not have a USB or a firewire port. There is something that says JLIP on it, and that iknow is used with the red and white audio, and yellow video cord. I was told that you can put a video from that on the computer but does anyone know how? Also I have a mini DV camera if that helps.

This Sunday, I’m getting a Windows 95 laptop because it’s all I can afford. I don’t think that laptop will be compatible with my camcorder. My camcorder is a Sony and the model number is DCRTRV830. What would I have to purchase to make the camcorder compatible with the laptop? Sources?

When I connect my video camera to my computer, it can’t recognize the camera. I have the software installed and updated and USB streaming turned on. Any ideas of how to get my computer to recognize it?

Does anyone have links or what its called? what usb cord i need? Then could i Put vids on youtube?

I was supposed to go up there today to learn how but I forgot. I’ve got a junior high game I need to film tomorrow and I need to learn how to do it quickly. Like I said, hooking a camcorder to a TV to record on VCR, please provide step by step instructions and please don’t give me links.

I have the Canon Elura 100 Mini DV camcorder and I am trying to connect it to my PC via firewire so I can transfer my videos to my PC to edit them.
When I connect my camcorder to my PC with the firewire nothing happens. I don’t know what to do from there. Can someone please tell me what to do or what the problem might be.
-My PC has windows XP and all the required RAM and enough disk space.

blank dvd, will it record on the dvd even though the camcorder is analog and not digital ? I’d love to know before i buy a dvd recorder !

My computer has a 1394 port and it says that any 1394a device like a digital camcorder can be connected. Do I still need a firewire card? What is 1394 ‘a’ and ‘b’? Should I buy a 4 wire or 6 wire “ilink” cable?
