Do I really need camcorder? I know camera has space limitation but I can still record for about 30-35 minutes of 640×480 video which is good enough for me.

My camera model does not have the transfer cable and port – there is a small port for a USB type cable but I tried to connect to my laptop and no luck – could not find the camera – …..Do I need special editing software for this to work?

Also if i get a HD camcorder — how will i actually use the HD video captured, as i do not have a HD-DVD burner.

I need a good video camera/camcorder for about $100-$300 that will be good for me to post videos on youtube or any other website. I would prefer it not to be a flip camcorder but if there is a REALLY good one out there then tell me!

I will be going to Disney World this coming spring break and I want to record a lot and take a lot of pics. Also, is there a camcorder that can record really well in the dark? I prefer for the camcorder and digital camera to be small(not to huge).

I was going to buy a digital camera or a camcorder because i wanted to make some internet videos with the quality of ppl being able to see me. It’s just gonna be posted on youtube and before i go buy a digital camera or a camcorder, i wanted to know what i should watch out for. Like what things should i watch when trying to buy one, like it’s mega pixels or w.e things i should watch and know about.

Are there huge differences in the video quality you can get from a HD consumer camcorder and a little “professional” cameras…the type videographers and local news stations use on location. What are the other main differences in capability?

I want to take home movies from 8mm video tapes, not reels, and put them onto the computer or make them into a DVD. I don’t have a 8mm camcorder and my dad’s broke. I know that I could go somewhere to get it done, but it’s really expensive and I don’t really trust anyone with my memories. Does anyone know if they make a converter or would I have to buy an old 8mm camera? Thanks!
