If You Have A Camcorder (sony) That Uses Dvd-r Discs, Can I Separate Audio From Video?
I want tο mаkе a CD, nοt a Dvd. Iѕ thіѕ possible аftеr recording myself wіth a camcorder? If nοt, аrе thеrе аnу οthеr suggestions οn hοw tο ԁο thіѕ? I dont want tο spend lots οf money!

Yes. The way you do it is to put the video on your computer. The video files contains two streams. One is video, the other is audio. Now you need a program that will display both streams (I use Vegas but this costs a lot of money) and load your video into it. Now you should be able to save the audio stream on it’s own as either a WAV or MP3. Search on Google for video editing software.
type in “freewheeling dvd” in the “search for questions box” at top. That will tell you how to tranlslate to an avi file. Audacity is only good for editing a audio .wav file once you have one. You need Virtual Dub which is free software to save the .wav file from an avi file. Then you need editing software which I assume you already have?
